I want to begin by expressing my excitement for the transition that is to come. As sad as we are to see Caron go, I believe there are so many great things in store for our new studio in the future. I am looking forward to working with each of you and look forward to continuing the successes Caron Moore Dance Productions has had.
As Joe Tremaine would say, “Dance training is life training”. Therefore, not only do I hope to better improve your child’s experiences in dance, but I also hope to teach them lessons that can be carried over into everyday life. Dance should not only teach technique, poise, rhythm, style, and grace, but should also teach dedication, cooperation, team work, camaraderie, and discipline. It is my objective to create an environment that will provide your child with the greatest combination of dance training and life training.
It is also my goal to provide a studio that everyone can be proud to call their own. I want to create an atmosphere that will challenge your children to their full potential in dance. I feel that the best way to achieve success in dance is to progress forward with no reservations, taking in everything that you can, from everyone you can, and from every situation that you experience. In the same respect I fully believe in this quote by Mark Twain. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
My door will always be open. This studio is as much your studio as it is mine. I want this to be a positive place that you and your kids enjoy coming to. I am looking forward to many more years of success as a studio family! We are going to make 2008 a great dance year!
With much excitement,
Whitney Moore
